“The true worth of a lawyer lies in his ability to provide objective and wise advice to his client. He can help his client identify his goals and the best way to achieve them. He can identify the risks and dangers inherent in a given course of action. The lawyer knows what is feasible and what is not, based on his experience. He knows what limitations are unavoidable and must be accepted. He can advise on what can be done immediately and what should be left to the long term. He uses his knowledge of human nature to assess the pitfalls and rewards inherent in the client’s personal and business relationships.”
